BRITISH EMPIRE CROWN PATTERNS

"Patina" series fantasy patterns, extremely well-made attractive pieces -- not modern looking but stylistically quite faithful to the 19th century; prooflike BU (except for bronzed copper). Mintages low; on some versions it's said to be 100 or less. Price $3.99 each. Any 10 for $37

Here are some pictures:

Order by type & metal (for example, "3-B"). Metals coded as follows:

A = Alum. Proofy silver-looking & nice.

B = Bronzed copper. "antiqued finish"

C = Red Copper

G = "Golden Alloy"

N = Nickel-Silver. Silver color

P = "Platinum color." Also silvery, but a deeper hue.

Now here are the types (all with ruler on obv), showing which metals for each:

1. BAHAMAS 1808 5 Shillings (sailing ship) -- A B G

2. BERMUDA 1808 5 Shillings (nice sailing ship) -- A

3. ISLE of MAN 1808 A B G

4. -- 1887 -- G N P (P looks like proof)

5. -- 1897 -- G N P

6. WALES 1830 (Dragon) -- A

7. -- 1840 -- N P (N & P very similar)
