PALEMBANG COINS

Frank S. Robinson

frank@fsrcoin.com

Undoubtedly the most spectacular listing of Palembang coins in the history of the cosmos. Listed by Robinson numbers per my 2015 book, main types numbered 1 to 19, varieties using decimal numbers. RARITY ratings from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest, 3 or fewer in hoard of 35,000 coins). While the lower rated varieties are "common" in comparison to the others, during my half century active in numismatic commerce, Palembang coins were almost never seen.

The book is available for $4.99.

Note, these listings are the BEST coins cherry-picked from the hoard. Coins graded EF (and especially AU!) are very exceptional. A group of 3 of the most common, graded VF, realized $213 in CNG's 10/12 eAuction; a 6-piece group of the small 1193 types (also common), "F-VF," brought $299, Teutoburger 2/14. The complete group of 291 from my book sold for $7638, Triton 1/16 -- over $26 per coin.)

On many of the coins, mainly those with lower rarity ratings, multiples are available
